Re: Permissioning the City - A Framework for Protocol Driven Governance

Permissioning the City aims to unlock vacant and underutilised urban spaces for the emergent civic economy. This project explores community-led governance and open permissions systems. It proposes a flexible planning approach that enables creative appropriation of spaces, supported by a digital system for distributed decision-making. Initially partnered with Daegu Metropolitan City, South Korea, it seeks to expand globally, demonstrating how cities can use technology to foster civic experimentation and urban resilience.
